It was a swimming competition of teams from Japanese universities in November.
Good day
Can see from 2nd floor of Tateyama Station. 13 minutes walk from Tateyama Station west exit. A place for swimming usually. This winter, many runners along Hojo Beach line.
The sand is smooth and feels good walking barefoot. The water was clean and there was no trash.
I visited in the evening, and the shellfish were easy to catch.
You can also see Mt. Fuji and be healed.
There is no shade, so if you are staying for a long time, you should take precautions.
5 minutes walk from Tateyama Station.
You should expect there to be no restaurants.
Don't forget to bring water.
In the summer, there are often many people at the beach!
The waves are calm, but when the wind is blowing,
It feels a little strong.
In winter, you can see Mt. Fuji, Kanagawa Prefecture's Miura Peninsula, and Oshima.
It's great when there are palm trees along the road and they match in the evening!
I visited on a Saturday afternoon towards the end of July. Although it was a scorching sun, the sea breeze was pleasant and it was hard to feel the heat. The beach is so hot that you can't walk barefoot. It's not too crowded and it's a great place to experience the summer sea.
When you walk out of the station and walk a little, the horizon spreads out in front of you! You can also go down to the beach right away, and there are many people, including families with children and groups of young people, taking photos or running away from the waves. I enjoyed it.
A beach that stretches west of Tateyama Station. A swimming beach is open in the summer.
Judging from the size of the facilities such as the rest area, you can imagine how lively it will be in summer.
However, I visited in December. There was a lot of floating debris on the coast during the off-season, and there was maintenance work going on in the area, so it wasn't a very quiet and relaxing atmosphere.
One of the highlights is Mt. Fuji, which can be seen across the sea. The sight of it capped with pure white snow is a view unique to winter.
